‘The Heritage Rising to the Sky in Antalya: Antalya Minarets’ centres on the historical silhouette of Antalya, shaped by its unique minarets from the Seljuk and Ottoman eras, and thoroughly analyses the city's rich architectural heritage by examining each minaret within the region's borders individually. The structures, where stone and brick are skilfully combined, present an aesthetic diversity with wood and ornamental details, and bear the traces of Seljuk and Ottoman styles to the present day. This work provides a thorough scientific investigation to uncover the rich world of Antalya minarets, situated at the intersection of history, art, and architecture.

We congratulate Assistant Professor Dr. Handan YERLİ' of the Faculty of Letters, Art History Department, on her work and wish her continued success.
