AN EVENT ON THE TECHNO-DIGITAL FUTURE WAS HELD AT THE FACULTY OF LITERATURE.
Within the scope of the Social Activity Day organized by Karabük University Faculty of Letters, Sociology Department Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kadir ŞAHİN's presentation on "Homo Deusification of Man and the Rise of Life 2.0: Thinking the Techno-Digital Future in the Footsteps of Artificial Intelligence".
Assoc. Prof. Dr. ŞAHİN's pioneering presentation addressed the effects of technology on human life, the changes experienced with the development of artificial intelligence and possible future scenarios. The transition of human beings to the Homo Deus phase and how digitalization affects our lives were examined in depth. In addition, the life of the future, which will be shaped by technology, was discussed through the concept of "Life 2.0".
The presentation was attended by students and academics from the Faculty of Letters as well as guests from different faculties. With a question and answer session, the event provided an opportunity for the participants to share their views and exchange information.
At the end of the event, Dean of the Faculty of Letters Prof. Dr. Muhittin KAPANŞAHİN presented a certificate of appreciation to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kadir ŞAHİN.
