The "Student Meeting" event, organized to increase interaction with students at Karabük University Faculty of Letters, was held with great participation. The event, which took place in the Şehit Fırat Yılmaz ÇAKIROĞLU Conference Hall, created a sincere environment between students and faculty members.
"Prof. Dr. Elif ÇEPNi, Vice Rector of Karabük University, Prof. Dr. Muhittin KAPANŞAHİN, Dean of the Faculty of Literature, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat ÇINAR and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Samet GÜVEN and Dr. Mustafa AKYÜREK, Secretary of the Faculty of Letters.
Prof. Dr. Muhittin KAPANŞAHİN, who made the opening speech at the event, expressed his pleasure to come together with the students and emphasized that they adopted a student-centered education approach as a faculty. Prof. Dr. Elif ÇEPNİ gave information about the general vision and mission of the university and explained the activities carried out to support the academic and social development of students.
During the meeting, students had the opportunity to ask questions to the administration of the Faculty of Letters. Assistant Deans Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat ÇINAR and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Samet GÜVEN gave information about the faculty and made detailed explanations about academic career planning and course contents. Prof. Dr. Mustafa AKYÜREK gave information about the administrative functioning of the faculty and student services.
The event continued with a question and answer session. The students expressed their satisfaction for having the opportunity to communicate one-on-one with the academic staff and requested that such meetings continue.
Karabuk University Faculty of Literature Student Meeting once again underlined the student-centered approach of the faculty and the value given to students by the academic staff.
